Designed by Silvio Berrone in 1955-1956: wood for the top , dark green vinyl and brass for the structure , Vitrex glass (V. I. S.-Vetro Italiano di Sicurezza) for the drawers. The architect Silvio Berrone designed the company headquarters and its interior for Bialetti, the famous producer of Italian espresso machines. For the façade and for the furniture, he used the safety glass V. I. S., having won the competition launched by the company in 1957. Article in: Domus, no. 344, July 1958.
