3 Tier 1970s Murano Glass Wall Sconces by Carlo Nason for AV Mazzega – Set of 2

$7,100.00
A stunning pair of mid-century architectural wall sconces designed by the master glassmaker Carlo Nason for the renowned Venetian manufacturer AV Mazzega during the 1970s. These rare, multi-tiered fixtures beautifully bridge the gap between Brutalist texture and sleek Space Age design.
Each sconce is composed of three vertically stacked slabs of heavy, hand-pulled Murano glass. The clear outer glass features a heavily textured, ice-like finish (ghiaccio) that brilliantly catches and diffuses light. Embedded deep within the center of each module is an intense, iridescent cobalt blue glass core shaped like a stylized hour glass, creating a striking focal point and a captivating interplay of color when illuminated.
Mounted on their original, low-profile metal backplates, these sculptural fixtures project an atmospheric, colorful glow, making them an incredible statement art installation for upscale retro, modern, or Hollywood Regency interiors.
